Demonstrating the effectiveness of mental health care has been a challenge for a long time and it still remains uncertain how this should be done. Different organisations have different needs and perhaps dissimilar priorities. However, it is increasingly clear that as a profession we need to prove our benefit in order to ensure a high quality service for the future.
